Hi folks, a few years ago I had loads of help from this great forum with regard to claiming PPI.
Recently I read that some banks were recalculating sums already paid and if necessary sending further monies to those who had already had payment. This I actually know to be true as in 2015, out of the blue I received another payment from Lloyds - yes you read that correctly !
Again, a few days ago, another unexpected surprise in the post this time from Barclays ! The first payment was in 2013 !
Apparently one does not have to do anything, the banks will contact you, you don't contact them.
The strange this is, my husband who originally had PPI repaid by Lloyds has not received any further payments, neither has my neighbour also with Lloyds - the claims we did were all about the same time give or time a month or so.
So was just wondering if anyone knew exactly which banks/societies were actually re-looking and re-calculating?
