  • MBNA PPI Redress accepted but amount seems incorrect HELP ME SOMEONE PLEASE

HI All, i am hoping there are some good folk who might help with an accurate calculation of my PPI redress. It has been upheld by MBNA, but i need some guidance on calculating what i am actually owed. I have all amounts i have paid in premiums between 1998 and 2002. the card debt was sold on to a third party, and on that basis the redress has come directly to me. the original card balance was 5000k with and average monthly premium of 1% of the balance. However, I did get into difficulties and the debt (which increased to 6,400) was sold on. I have received
1, 730, but based on the total premiums and the 8% per annum x 18 years, this seems way lower than expected. What is the simple formula for calculating? Any help is greatly appreciated as the letter stated this was their FINAL OFFER, regards to all on this brilliant forum.
