I will try and keep this short.
My OH had £72 left to pay on a TV licence fine and asked the court (via email) if he could pay the last instalment on 25th Oct. The fine was originally for £600. The court never replied and instead we got a letter from collectica which demanded a payment of £147. A bailiff visited today (we were not in), he spoke with my OH over the phone saying that he would get a locksmith to force entry and change locks. The amount has now gone up to £382, he won't accept a payment arrangement and wants the payment by next week. Tried calling the office but they said that they cannot help. So frustrating!!
