  • Hi Everyone

Just a quick post to say Hi and thanks for such good information.

My interest in the site is because I am considering Vting a car with VW Finance. Nothing wrong with it at all other than I fancy a change.

I tried to trade in my car recently, a Skoda Citigo 5 door SE in white, mint except for 1 slightly scuffed NS wheel trim. The car is 20 months old. It has a service plan and the 2nd service is due in Jan 17. The current milage is 6100 miles. There was about £1500 negative equity on the vehicle and my current settlement figure is £7300 at 0%. My 50% figure quoted on the PCP is £5229. I was offered £4500 trade in by Vospers Plymouth, which is better than Smart Plymouth £4000. Webuyanycar offered £4700 but we all know how they work.

    Questions

    1. Do I just have to pay half the payments i.e 21 months of the 42 month agreement (Jan 17 would be 24 months) or the £5229 which I will reach in Nov 17?

If I wait till Nov17 I will still save about 8 months payments. My balloon payment is about £4700 after the 42 months, but the car is never going to with that.

    Thanks

    Kevin
