Hi legal team,
I need some help, I have little to no legal experience or knowledge.
I was involved in a car accident, which was my fault, I clipped a rather expensive land rover and scratched his bumper.
The other issue is I am a learner driver and my mother was at the back of the car tending to my son, which I was honest about, my mother was supposed to be at the front of the car with me during my learning experience, which meant that Collingwood has declined me indemnity.
The car owner is claiming over £7k in car hire reimbursements for a period of about 2 weeks.
I would like to challenge this case with the courts mediation team, but Collingwood have instructed a solicitor to fight on their behalf to refute the large car rental price, but then they will im sure pass on this bill to me.
I would like to take on the challenge of refuting the claim through the courts directly but Collingwood has declined.
How do I get Collingwood to drop the case and not instruct a solicitor and give this back to the courts to decide with my own council.
I hope this makes sense?
