  • Does my ex still have any parental responsibility?

I divorced my husband early last year after he went for my 16 year old son with a knife.
He was arrested and given a resraining order for 2 years to avoid any contact with myself and my son.
My husband was not my sons father but we do have a 6 year old girl together who lives with me.
Earlier this year my ex-husband applied to the court for access to our daughter.
This was refused and my ex-husband is only allowed indirect contact with her such as monthly letters and cards.
My ex-husband has not seen his daughter for the last 19 months.
My ex-husband currently pays child maintenaance for our daughter.
Does my ex-husband have any parental responsibility?

If you were married when your daughter's birth was registered- Yes.

Is his name on the birth cert?
