  • threat of repossession pre action protocol

I have had the following pre action letter from prestige. the question is do i keep fighting or just sell up as quicky as possible. here is plenty of equity in the property we should clear 100k if we sell up .
to complicate the matter we are having grant based building work done to allow my wife ti use a bathroom and to let me get back to work. The last CCj drops off at christmas although there will be late payments and defaults i am hoping to try and re-mortgage .

Do I just give in now I feel so tired and beaten.

      Hi

Its always better and a lot cheaper to handle things yourself if its got to that stage, especially with that much asset in your property.

Can you reach an affordable arrangement with the lender, or look for other actions. Although, if you think the eventually is a sale, it may be better to proceed with it yourself now, rather than drag it out a year, as no one knows what will happen to housing market when brexit starts to kick in.

Do you already have a thread detailing the history of this issue on the LB forum?

If so can you add a link to this one please.

Don't give up unless you have no hope of fighting this legally speaking. Those letters are designed to intimidate. Don't let them.

I might well have a thread on the forum. Maybe admin can merge them.
