Can you be taken to court for a Barclaycard debt without having a default notice first ?
this debt is over six years old and the original default notice has gone off my file.
been paying it off through payplan on a dpm which payplan has stopped as they say it will never be paid off if I carry on the plan.
so trying to do myself. I have been making payments to it so even though it is over six years old is it still recoverable.
my question is if the default has gone off my file can they take me to court as they cant issue another one ?
or is it just the file it goes off.
    thanks
