    Hi,

I filed a claim on moneyclaim and have seen that on 28th July the defence was struck out and then on the same day the bar in place for this person was removed.

Can you please explain what both mean?

Hi Chinky & welcome to LB.

Have you tried phoning the court; they're usually quite helpful & it will avoid speculation.

A bar that was in place would have been likely that the defendant had filed something such as a defence and so to prevent you from getting default judgment. It would seem strange that the defence has been struck out but if the bar has been removed that would appear to indicate you can obtain judgment. As suggested, checking with the court as to the reason why the defence was struck out and whether judgment has been granted in your favour or do you need to request default judgment
