  • Local Authority Joint Committee

    Hello,
I am working in an organisation that is a join committee owned by a number of councils.
I was sent on a course by my organisation and signed a form of undertaking of financial assistance. The form refers to me owing money to the organisation however the policy refers to me owing money to one of the council which policy was used.
I am now leaving the organisation and they claim I am required to pay the costs of the course back however I am struggling to understand who is the party to the contract.
The course fees were paid by the organisation and the form states i need to repay the costs to them but now they saying I need to repay the money to the council.
    Could anyone advise?
