  • particulars of claim.

    hi i am going through a pre action protocol for solicitors negligence and need help with the letter for particulars of claim.

    I have already sent one but don't think i have put everything that is needed.

    My question is can i send an amended one to the solicitor?

      Hi and welcome.

      Have you consulted the Preaction Protocol for Professional Negligence (https://www.justice.gov.uk/courts/pr...col/prot_neg)?

      If the other side have not responded to your letter, IMO, there should certainly be no problem sending a further letter.
      Even if they have responded I don't see why further letters should not be sent.
      If objections should be raised about it you could argue that you are acting in compliance of the spirit of the aims of the protocol (para 2.2)

          As Mike has said no reason why you should not sending and amended letter.

          If you can post copy of the proposed POC it would be helpful.
