After help if anyone can, I recently VT my car I had paid over half value and returned in good condition as agreed by Mercedes Finance, all well and good, NO now they say I need to pay excess mileage charge about £1200.
When I read my contract it states in section (Termination your rights) conditions where as follows Must pay any outstanding payments and have paid 50% of the agreement, the car must be returned in good condition and been taken care of :then you would have nothing else to pay".
My view is I would not be charged with excess mileage, am I right or being silly
