  • BMW Finance Advice

    Good morning,

In September I make my 48th and final payment to BMW finance for a car.

I have an option of keeping the car for a final payment of £10500.

I have already paid £4000 towards this £10500, so leaving £6500 to pay.

I feel I will be unable to make the £6500 payment but would still like to keep the car and hopefully come to some sort of agreed extension with BMW.

My question is....if BMW finance don't give me any options to extend,
what can I do and what can they do ?

I will be able to pay in full within 6 months. So will keep making them payments of £1000 a month regardless of any agreement or decision.

Can they simply repossess the car ?
Would they require a court order ? I feel I could if required, make my case .
Also, by the time it went to court, I feel I'd have 2-3 payments left at most.

    any advice greatly appreciated.
