Hi all
I received a letter today saying i had a ccj. Basically a payday lender has linked my name to someone and the courts have agreed that i am that person and there amended the ccj to include my name on the claim. I phoned up the number on the paper work and they basically said you go by 2 names thats why we have put your name on the judgement. I asked why i didnt get a summons letter as i would have defended myself to which they replied we did send it to you in your other name. I told them i dont go by that name so i wouldn't open a letter which is not addressed to me. Apologies if im not making sense im just fuming that they can be allowed to do that. CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE
