I read elsewhere that DQs are sent to defendants when a defence is filed.
Is that correct?
I advised a friend of mine (yes, genuinely - it's not me), on receipt of a claim to send the CPA/other request to the plaintiff/solicitor.
Having received the usual 'may take some time' acknowledgment, she's now received a 'change of solicitor' notice (Lowells replacing Cohen Cramer) and what appears to be a Directions questionnaire completed on behalf of the Plaintiff (also Lowells).
Should I be concerned that my friend hasn't received a Directions questionnaire from the Court?
My understanding is that until the Plaintiff has provided the info in the CPA/other request that the claim can't proceed.
