Hi everyone
For 18 months now I have been waiting for Lowell to send me proof of a debt I owe from an apparent unpaid Orange bill. I have asked them for proof of the debt, of which I have no recollection, yes I had an orange phone contract but paid it in full by direct debit every month. They have failed to provideo any evidence and I recently checked my creditto report on which they have listed defaulted debt (which was not there before).
I feel a bit in the dark as to what to do, I always pay my bills and have never had an issue before. They haven't prvoided any proof of the debt and I don't believe I owe it. It is now affecting my credit score and this makes me worry.
If anyone could offer any advice on how I could resolve the matter or how to fight it better at least it would be much appreciated.
