  • Hello everyone I'm worried about my brother

good morning , I'm a pretty scared, cause my brother stold in primark many days ago.

He told me everthing, HE WAS STOLEN TOO MANY ITEMS , AND HE TRIED TO GO OUT WHEN TO GUARD BRIGH IT IN A ROOM , there, He spoke few words to a man. that he scked about his information .

My brother didn't have any document . but he wrote his first name and the last name.

    he is 19 .

moreover the man who spoke with him gave to him paper about a company named RLP.

my brother wrote on a white paper only his name the date of birth and also he gaved to them email, and the address who he lives

but the scared is about a sentence tha the man spoke , He told about if you don't pay in less 3 weeks after that the police will be called. moreover if the letter doesn't arrive call RLP , according to me( it sound strange Hve i call RLP to soleciteing them to send me a letter that my brother have to pay ???)
the man who he spoked he was stange cause seems to be both serious and non suprised. but he was clear about If you don't pay I call the police I don' know who he was but my brother said he had a Primark ID.

Please I love my brother and I'm so scared about that. I khnow He was in bad but please he's my brother.

      Hi and welcome

Tell your brother to worry no more.

THE POLICE WILL NOT BE CALLED NOW.

RLP will write to your brother demanding money, with a spurious explanation that this is to cover the costs of your brother's actions
      IGNORE THE LETTER
RLP will write more scary letters
      IGNORE THEM
Eventually they will threaten court action (but they don't actually do court!)

check threads on this site (put RLP into search bar) and you will see how common this situation is

I have got to agree with him  RLP are not a big problem ... they're all threat and no action xx

the advice we give here on LB is to ignore RLP ... they don't take people to court xx

If the police were going to be involved, they would have been called while your brother was in the shop ... IMO it's too late for that now xx

Re: Hello everyone I'm worried about my brother

Really, so if the police will be involved now, They coldn't make any action . Is it ?:goodjob:
however, my brother is in bad, actually I spoke to my mother about that, really now I'm non so proud about him.
another one question, I think in Primark have a video about him , so probably they could involve the police with this prof, or everthing have been done , so the couldn't nothing now ??

Re: Hello everyone I'm worried about my brother

I honestly don't think the police will be involved now ... Primark would have to explain why they hadn't called them to begin with (which they won't want to do)

He'll probably get a few emails/letters from RLP, but it's safe to ignore them. Then he'll get a few letters from a Debt Collection agency (he could ignore these too). The letters will have big red writing on them (in the hopes of scaring/intimidating him into paying) but they are honestly nothing to worry about. RLP do not take people to court (Primark would have to do this, and they won't either).

                    K xx

RLP have not taken anyone to court since they lost the case talked about here - http://legalbeagles.info/rlp-and-the...-and-the-lies/

Primark have basically 'wiped their hands' of the situation regarding your brother now. He was caught, and the goods he took were returned (AFAIK) so there was no 'loss' as such. He'll get a few letters etc... but if he doesn't respond RLP will eventually move on to someone more susceptible to their bully-boy tactics. xx
