  • New to forum - Hello!

    Hi,

I'm writing to say hello and to explain a bit about what I'm looking for.

I'm here because I'm interested in finding out if there's anything I can reclaim from numerous banks/credit card/loans and a mortgage that I've previously had in terms of PPI - following on from the constant adverts on the radio etc, I thought I'd give it a go. My problem is that I haven't got all my old statements etc and I don't remember exact dates, application details and so on either. I do have a list of lenders though, with very approximate dates:-

    Egg (Credit card - 1998-2005)
    MBNA (Credit card - 1998-2009)
Capital One (Credit card - 1998-2006)
    Barclaycard (2x Credit cards - 2000 onwards)
Smile (Credit card - 2000 onwards)
    Cahoot/Santander (loan - 1998-2007)
    SkyCard (Credit card - 1998-2007)

It would be great if I could get some advice on whether or not it's worth claiming and how to go about it.

    Regards,

    Simon.

Re: New to forum - Hello!

Normally the best way to find out if you had PPI, account details and how much you paid on any account you'd send each company a Subject Access Request http://legalbeagles.info/forums/show...ur-information

The problem is that these accounts are quite old and the companies might not hold the information anymore.
