I can't help bust notice that on a number of " Cabot/ Restons" claims, Cabot is denying receipts of a properly requested CCA request and/ or that no fee was sent with the request.
In some cases it is Restons stating that Cabot has received the CCA request without the fee, without a signature etc.
I will encourage anyone I respond to on such a thread to use a PO endorsed " For Statutory Fee Only" and to get a receipt for the purchase of the PO and keep a copy of the actual PO.
I cannot believe that suddenly LB members are not send the £1 fee.
It may be wise to suggest to LB members that a report to the FCA each time this happens is now necessary.
