Hi,
I discovered the much hidden gem of voluntary termination recently. I have finally paid off half of the finance and therefore wrote to the car finance company to VT my car. (The car that depreciated by 8 grand a week after I bought it!!!)
I have read somewhere that the company (GMAC in this case) cannot charge you a VT fee. Please can someone shed some light on this? I need to be a bit more clued up when I phone them to argue my point and I'm struggling to find much information about this on the internet.
Also, the chair in my car just stopped moving the other day. I can't see anything blocking it but the car has lifetime warranty. Is this something that they are likely to charge me for?
Any other hint/tips for me would be appreciated as I'm expecting them to come back with allsorts!
Thanks in advance.
