For land, claims cannot normally be made after 12 years, but if it is a mortgage it's either 6 or 12 yrs. Can you please tells us some details, ie were you previously repossessed and the lender is claiming a shortfall. Or is the 95 k for another property where your ex has defaulted on the mortgage and the lender is requesting all the money now?

      Hi Welcome to LB.

Please give us some details of how this came about?

Is this mortgage short fall debt?
      A 2nd mortgage/charge?
      Was this a joint account?
Who is the solicitor and who are they acting for?

Please don't be scared or panicked by this, to put
this simply they cannot have what haven't got.
Your health should not suffer over this.
Your income and assets means that court action
will be a waste of money and court time,

There's loads of experience and help here for you.

So please give us some history and details so we can help.
