statutory demand in relation to overseas debt

I have received a statutory demand from a UK debt collection agency in relation to a debt from Australia.

Is it possible to be sued for a debt in the UK for a alleged debt from Australia. The demand has attached an Australian judgement.

Would appreciate any advice.
