  • sell house with charge attached

    Hi, long story short..
i have a mortgaged property which i rent out - it has 2 charges on it, 1 is MKDP (welcome) the other is a private ex business landlord. MKDP welcome ddint provide me with the correct default notices/info and the ex landlord was 2007 and ive never paid a penny, agian this alleged debt was riddled with holes.

I desperatly want to sell the property but there isnt enough equity to cover the charges (1@9000 1@15000) and i honestly truely feel i dont owe the landlord charge and the welcome charge i beleive is unenforcable.

can i sell the house without the chargees knowing? if so what would happen after?

    thanks

      Hi

Basically, no, once the charge is registered against the property, you would have to formally challenge it through court to get it removed. There is no way of doing it without agreement from holders of the charges
crazy council ( as in local council,NELC ) as a member of the public, i don't get mad, i get even
