  • ppi claim capital one

I have just had ppi claim rejected by capital one as they say I ticked the box on original application form. It was my responsibility to review the information. They claim that they did not mis sell the insurance to me.
I took out insurance in 2004. They have sent a copy of a leaflet they claim to have sent to me at the time. However, the date on the leaflet is 2006.

Is there any thing I can do. Has anyone else had claim rejected for this reason?

I would respond pointing that out and ask them to reconsider otherwise you'll take the complaint to the Financial Ombudsman.
