  • Outstanding Car Finance

HI All, posted a question earlier but not sure if I am using the site properly.

Car Finance Outstanding on a vehicle I have purchased and I am more than a little worried at the car stands me more than 15k and I could possibly loose all that I have outlaid.

Can anyone give some advice and or point me in the right direction.

    Re: Outstanding Car Finance

Depends on the outstanding finance. If it was a loan from ,say, a bank, that is outstanding then it should not be a problem. If it is hire purchase or other type of loan effectively secured on the car then you could be in deep trouble as the car would belongs to the finance company and whoever sold it to you did not have good title to sell it. You therefore cannot have good title and it could be removed by the rightful owners.

Perhaps a little more details? And keep track of whoever sold you the car so that you would be able to get your money back.
