  • Ignoring small claims track

Have received papers for a small claims track. Don't know what to do. Someone said ignore them will just get a ccj if I reply or ignore so makes no difference.

    Re: Ignoring small claims track

Goodness no don't ignore them ! Blinking nora, some people ! ( <- sorry aimed at the people who said ignore it )

We'll need a few more details - but for now an overview of what to do is here http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...it-Court-Claim

If you have a look through some of the threads in the court claim forum -> http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...-a-Court-Claim - you'll see it is actually quite rare for someone dealing with a court claim to actually end up with the CCJ - theres other things you can do, defend, negotiate etc.

If you have a look at this form http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...?do=form&fid=9 it tells you the basic info we need, you can fill in the form ( although it can be a bit glitchy sometimes ) or post those details on your thread.

Main thing is get the claim acknowledged as per the first steps thread, and then you can get started dealing with it after Christmas.
