HCEO impending visit

I have received a letter from High Court Enforcement for a CCJ for a PPI claim that i never received Monies for. My car is on finance and cannot pay the full amount they are asking for.

Can a HCEO break in to the house
Can they seize my car (according to the Sheriffs they can even if it is on finance)

any serious help would be appreciated

A car on finance lease od HP is not your property!!

Please explain how a PPI claim ends up with HCEO's??

Good evening nemesis,
thankyou for your post.......A company called Brunel Franklin said that they represented me for a PPI case, but i never recieved any monies from them. They now claim that i owe them £1945.54 in unpaid fees and issued a CCJ 2 years ago and ultimately escalated the matter to the High Court.

Andrew Wilson & Co sent me a letter for NOTICE OF ENFORCEMENT for a sum of £2035.54

I have seen that i could go to prison if i refuse them entry when they visit

How did they obtain a CCJ they must have provided some evidence of a contract between the 2 of you was the PPI they claim they obtained paid to you by A>N other

According to David Carter CEO of the Sheriffs Office:

The HCEO or Certificated Bailiff can seize a wide range of goods including but not limited to:

• Vehicles, Boats and Aeroplanes
• Stock and Machinery
• Household Furniture
• Jewellery and Art
• Money, bank notes and promissory notes (cheques)
• Bonds, shares and deeds
• Livestock and animals
• Firearms
• Jointly owned property (i.e. goods owned by a married couple)
• Items held by the police
• Goods on finance (providing sale is agreed by the finance company)

Hi wales,
No, I have not received any monies from the company who charged me PPI in the first instance (Welcome Finance).......Brunel claimed that the monies were paid to me.

You need to get the CCJ set aside and stop the HCEOS there will be others on here who will help
