Hi there I have a letter from DHL asking me to pay £23.41 for duty and VAT on an item I bought a few months ago. As far as I'm concerned I have already paid for the item. If I don't get back to them they are threatening debt colectors

Hi and Welcome.
Assuming these items have been imported, DHL will have paid the duty and VAT levied by HMRC.
This has to be paid by the importer (you) and so you would be well advised to cough up before the DCA start adding their fees.
