My mother has a problem it started with a ccj we replied to the paperwork by sending the claim form back the the company in question. They gave us a letter stating that they had got the claim pack and sent other forms asking for information house value and value of all items in the property. We sort advice and it was that we did not have to send these forms back. Some time after we found out that they got a judgement in default they did not send in the claim form to the court. Now they are looking at getting a charging order on the property and have a hearing based in Kent we live in the northwest. Can I get the hearing changed to a local court were we can submit the fact that they did not put the claim form in and because we asked to pay in installments they just wanted the full amount. Or do you have some better advice.
