Hello to all of you on this forum, I am hoping that I can find the information I need from you, which I am confident that I can :-) I look forward to receiving your support and knowledge! I don't know if what I am looking for is possible but I'm kind of new to all of this! I am hoping to sort out a potential constructive dismissal and or a breach of contract for my son. I am fairly sure his previous employer have deliberately underpaid him, especially looking at their conduct and how many previous employees have expressed similar problems on the internet. I'm sure you're asking why can't he do it himself...but he emigrated to New Zealand last week. I don't know if I can represent him and even, now he's out of the country, if I can take this any further on his behalf. I do have his contract of employment? I thought that I should point out that, he did tell his employer at the interview, that he would be leaving in Sept 2015 and that was accepted by them. He had contracted hours but towards the end they gave him very few hours and they only paid him for the actual hours worked, not contracted. Is this lawful? I want to sort this out because he went out with over £1000 less than he was banking on and he is only 22, setting up a new life on the other side of the world on his own.
Many thanks in advance for any advice on the matter.
