  • new kitchen put in by council but now my oven is broken?

    Hi all

recently the council have put in a new kitchen in my flat, my oven was in perfect working order before they moved it out and when they put it back it now cuts out all the time. They are saying that they take no responsibility for this but they are the ones that moved this in and out and re wired back up. They have sent the electriction out who said the electrics are ok and it is the oven that is defo broke.
where can I go from here as I can't afford a new oven and feel they need to accept responsibility for this
    thanks in advance

Can you ask the electrician to put this in writing? The council should provide you with a working oven. See your local councillor and ask then to intervene.
