JSA advice please.

    JSA advice please.

    Hi, I am unable to find the advice I need and was hoping you may be able to help. I need to go to different area for about 2mths and need to know if I can sign on temporarily in a different area as I am a Jobseeker but am not changing my permanent address. Would appreciate any advice you may have.

    Yes, as long as you continue to declare that you're actively seeking work.
    Make sure you tell the Jobcentre well in advance so they can make the necessary arrangements and get something in writing from them to confirm.

      you would need to tell them about any changes, but if it doesn't last more than 13wks I can't see it being a problem (as long as you are still classed as ASW of course) - https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/reque...tails.pdf.html (section 23/24)
