land theft.

Am helping a guy who has had his land stolen, brought it to attention to land reg, they not intetested.
The people behind the theft of his land now have it registed to them...how can we transfer it back to they guy as the guy never sold it or signed it over....
Would like to find a legal eagle to help him.

Land transfer has to be by deed, so signatures and witnesses, did you ask the LR to see copies of them? Was your friendthe registered owner before the 'sale'?
