  • Removal notice first we heard we had a debt

Hi everyone & thanks for letting me join, I have had a lok through the posts but don't seem to be able to find the info I require.
Basicaly my daughter came home to a hand delivered removal notice for £1599.28 in her maiden name apparently for owed council tax the company involved are Jacobs who have said they sent out three letters to her Jan Feb which she has NOT recieved, strange how the only one she got was the removal notice hand delivered by person unknown. I have since paid this debt but wish to dispute it just wondering how I go about it?

Strange thing is my daughter is a council house tenant why didn't they contact her in first place.

Hopefully someone out there can offer some advise, thanks in advance
