Good news to report back on these scams that Barclays have been involved in. Long story, short - the police sent me a letter stating they had finished their investigations and had been in talks with Barclays and to contact Barclays. I promptly attended Barclays Bank and e-mailed their scamming dept (e-mail on the letter I received from the police). After 15 days got a response stating basically tuff!!!!!!
RIGHT!!!! e-mailed Anthony Jenkins - CEO Barclays direct complaining that the police letter stated they would be helpful and assess each case well what a load of tosh I've got the same fob off as I did in 2012.
Got a phone call on Thursday last week to say they had investigated and apologised profusely, received my money back from 2012 plus £100 compensation, wasn't bothered about the compensation just wanted my money back it was quite substantial.
So............contact Anthony Jenkins direct if you are not getting anywhere to get your money back - smiling away here at my result.
