Can you explain a bit more please?
Whose services were you looking to use? Did you sign the contract or was it an 'expressed' verbal statement? What do you believe is a 'breach of contract'?

      Hi Welcome,

You should insure that all verbal " promises are ratified in writing,
Very difficult to prove what is verbally offered so make sure you make notes
of all the point of " benefits" verbally offered and check that the same appears
      on the contract you sign.

        Hi Kati ,

I was looking to use a self storage unit , they told me security measures in place , gates , cctv , keypad entry and a manned monitored cctv service out of business hours . They told me all about it while walking round , I did sign the contact yes , then sometime later they failed to lock the gate correctly and the monitoring system had failed 2 weeks earlier . I had things stolen . I then sent a letter of complaint but they told me the security measures were not for protection of my goods , my unit or the site .. Surely they cannot do that ?

Just a quick point , others who store there and have stored there and signed contracts were also lead to believe the security measures were for they're benefit .

              Hi Nem,

I am not certain at present as someone else has it , although it appears ( but don't quote me ) it mentions nothing about security at all

                Hi Bobby,
I use a storage company for archived files and every security measure is listed, so I find it odd there being nothing about it on your contract.

Can you tell us which storage firm it was? Or scan your contract and terms & conditions and post up redacted copies of them?
