Re: train2game
Hi not sure if I am posting this correctly .first time!
My son took out a gaming course with train2game about 5 months ago after the sales man visited his home and talked him in to it after he had expressed a possible interest.
It is an online gaming course funded by caledonian consumer finance. The charge of authority form has, career finance 4 trade skills ltd , on it. and the registration form has train 2 game on it. and the finance form simply says pre contract credit information(standard european consumer credit agreement information)
He was told the course was to be done by a combination of on line, postal and telephone with full tutor support and check ups and that any problems simply retake those section until you pass.He was told it could easily fit around your current job.
He was also told the price was going up ,so to sign up now with the finance offer to secure the price.
The (advisor) salesman convinced him the qualifications on offer were needed if you were to have any future career in the gaming industry!
I do believe as a young man living on his own trying to find a future he was given the hard sell and his desire to better his future working life were taken advantage of
Why. Firstly he is dyslexic and he told the advisor this and needed help for such at collage ,so would not have understood all of the contract which he was signing and second the advisory knew he had no internet access in his flat and had only limited access usage to it through friends and family. yet the adviser told him he would be able to still do the course as full support is given.
Well it isn't he has to keep calling them expressing his concerns and no one ever calls or checks on him. even when after two months no work is done.
Having seen all of what is on here I have told him to cancel the direct debit payments.
Any help or advice about this and what to expect will be appreciated.
