  • Thank you for having me!

I never know what to say with these things but all I can say is, like most people I'm sure, I wish I had found this place sooner.

At at the age of 26 and now responsible for my own little family I guess I realised it was time to take control of my life (financially) to better our situation and to try and enjoy life without any added complications that life doesn't already give us :tinysmile_twink_t2:

I have a couple of issues I could really use some help to resolve. One of which j have already posted as a thread in the relevant category.

Basically, my financial situation over the years has been shocking. Some silly decisions but most seeing financial hardship through a cycle of charges and unaffordable repayments. After obtaining a copy of my credit file, I expected it to be bad, which is was/is) but I noticed a default recorded from a company I didn't recognise. It turned out it was a payday company I used back in 2012 but we're using a different name. The default was recoded earlier this year but I never received a notice for this so I'm wondering if this makes it void and if I can challenge it? - I have already posted this as a separate thread though.

My my second issue which is the most draining at the moment is the battle I seem to have with Lloyd's in regards to trying to claim back my bank charges over the last 4 years when I was in financial hardship but it's like trying to get blood from a stone with them and now I feel I have nowhere further to go with them.
I'm happy to go into more detail about what's happened so far for anyone in the know.

Thank you so much in advance.

I have answered ro Wonga on your other thread.

Did you request refund of the Lloyds charges under the hardship rules?

      Hi,

Thank you so much for your replies. I've just replied to your one on the Wonga thread.

I did request a refund under the hardship rules, I explained my situation and how it affected every day life too but they just replied saying that no refund would take place as the Supreme Court ruling in 2009 means that charges cannot be challenged as they're not deemed as unfair.
