Am new to this, so do please excuse any rookie mistakes! Firstly, I would like to say what a great site this is, and what a fantastic job you're all doing to help folk who are going through stressful and worrying times. Keep up all the great work!
I have a couple of questions that I hope someone will have the answers to.
1. If I have received a claim form through MCOL that states detailed particulars of claim to follow, would I need to receive the particulars 14 days from the issue of claim form, or 14 days from the service of claim? The MCOL site says 14 from issue, and the claim form itself states to follow 14 days from service. Confused?
2. would I be right in believing that claims through MCOL have 5 days from date of issue to date of service?
My other half has received an MCOL claim issued on 30.7 and we are unsure when we need to have received particulars by?
Any advice on this matter would be gratefully received.
