Hello all - Im new to this forum, please excuse my ignorance in all things law-related!
I am making a claim on MCOL for a number of invoices overdue and understand I can claim interest. The issue I have is thats the invoices are all from different dates/amounts. This isn't the end of the world as I can work out the interest due on each and add this to the claim amount but MCOL also ask for the Daily rate of interest up to the date of judgment. Since in this instance each invoice will have a different daily rate should I just provide the average?
Eg: Inv 1 daily rate = £0.88
Inv 2 daily rate = 1.34
Inv 3 daily rate = £1.35
Therefore the average daily rate = £0.88 + £1.34 + £1.35 / 3 = £1.19
Perhaps I draft a 'Particulars of the claim' doc and add the calculation to this for clarity?
I hope this makes sense! It would be great to get your thoughts on this!
