    hi my wife got a speedin fine but coudnt pay and baliff got involved eventually knocked on door demandin £425 i paid fine if £125 direct to court baliff text all tine and rang alk time marstons would not listen threaten to get lock smiths
    asked to see paper work would nit show
    if i paid fine was the warrent dead did balif have right to clamp the car read court adds amount to fine to pay ballif is this right is the baliff charges legal please help

    The bugger is unfortunately correct in stating that our beloved "government" has given them the right to rob people of £300 per warrant they execute - and that bit of law (or non-law) has nothing whatever to do with Europe, as it was devised in Whitehall.

    However:
    1. Whose motor-car was clamped - was it yours or hers?
    2. Did she receive a "Further Steps" notice from the "court"?
