I am 50 years old, mother of 4 and a Nanna to now 5 grandchildren (the newest edition being 10 days old and gorgeous). I have seen this site before and think its absolutely amazing. Its awesome how people come together here to help others and relieve the worry and stress that can give you sleepless nights. Ill just give a quick write up about why I am here then start searching.
Im looking for a template letter to send to DWP about a Social Fund loan that apparently I took out nearly 10 years ago. I honestly cant remember ever getting one in the 4 years I was on income support. Other than that 4 years I have always worked up until recently. I have been made redundant after 8 years in my last job and had to claim JSA. I was due a payment Friday 13th (I know lol) and it was recalled so that DWP could start taking the £24 a fortnight out which meant I only got paid today. I only received the letter on Saturday 14th informing me about the loan and the payments they intended to take to pay it back. I havnt had chance to write to them asking for paperwork to prove I owe it. Are there any template letters on this site I could use as I am not very good at creating them. Any pointers in the right direction would be appreciated.
