    Hello, I found your forum quite by accident while perusing YouTube. At last a forum with shared and similar issues to myself. The beauty of your forum is that it's focus is on everyday (perhaps to some right wing folks rather humdrum issues; but for the likes of me, these problems ruin a stream of night sleeps while I fearfully hold my breath at each ring of the doorbell.

    Yes, we hear about lots of sleepless nights here, hopefully our community can guide you back to peaceful sleeping
    "Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )
