Hi I am new here and am concerned about my case, it is a bit complicated well very complicated really, but to cut a long story short WE have been involved for a number of years with a claims co in relation to PPI and repossession action taken by the lender.
Now we have left the firm of solicitors dealing with the matter and they are sueing us for fees and uplift, since leaving them we have found that the claim and counter claim have been struck out, since this happened over 18 months ago we are assuming that there would be some difficulty in the lender resserecting the case, but would like to know the order is attached.
Also with the solicitors sueing us as they let this happen would that be reason in itself for us not to be found liable for their fees

thankyou for the warm welcome, I am sometimes a bit challenged with uploading things etc, and this is one such time> so have copy typed the contests of the order
By consent
It is ordered that
1) The trial window of ----------- be vacated
2) The matter be stayed with liberty to restore by 16^th of september 2011, in default of which, the claim and counterclaim be struck out without further order.
3) No order as to costs

We are going to need a lot more info to make head or tails of this case. Who is the claimant, what is the counter claim? Who are the Claims Management Company?

Perhaps a chronology would be a good start?

there are an awfull lot of docs so this will take me a bit of time to put together, thew case has been ongoing for a very long while, and it is somewhat complicated now but I will try and put things across in a coherent way.
