Hi first of all would like say hello to everyone as i am need to the page

I need help with a debt letter from a debt collection company i got last year saying i owed money to shop direct financial services.
I told them i didnt owe the money and they sent a few more letters then stopped.
Now i have got a letter from CAPQUEST i was going to ring them but did a search for and what i have heard of this company i dont want them getting my number.

I have worked out that the debt is over 10 years old but i have never heard of the company that they are claiming i owe the money to.
This is my first letter from CAPQUEST saying that they can offer me a deal at a reduced price.

I need advice please to what to do please as if i just ignore i know it will just get passed on again
    thanks

    Re: capquest

If you don't recognise the debt you may want to send Crapquest the 'Prove it' letter noted here ---> http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...9479#post59479

If there hasn't been any payment or written acknowledgment to this debt for 6 years or more (5 in Scotland), then it will be Statute Barred.
