Dont know if im in the right place, but tesco direct have become a pain for me.
As im unwell for the past year, last thing i needed was to go back n forth shopping for xmas. I went online ordered a ps3 off tesco direct, had email said to pick item up on saturday 1st dec after 4pm. I crawled out of bed and visited store only to be told it wasn't there, nor was my order showing up on their systems. The manager did the best he could and rang tesco direct and was told my order number i printed out and my name didn't show up on their systems. Was told i'd get a phonecall back on monday before 6pm and the tesco manager would receive a call to say what was going on. Was also told i would be better off buying it elsewhere if my order was lost costing me another £135 odd which i don't have. I tracked my order all day today (monday) and finally after 3 phonecalls i found it was at the store. I went up to collect it and the manager said he still hadn't received a call from tesco direct to say what went wrong. I have sent 2 emails and no reply. I was offered £10 compo for goodwill but thats nothing as i couldn't use clubcard or a £9 tesco voucher online .. Tesco think as they are a major company they can walk all over people like myself and others.. They had my money, lost my order, delayed it for 2 days, haven't replied to me either via phone or email. I wouldn't buy online with them again.. Any advice would be grateful
