  • costs for litigant in person

    Hello

Its in an appeal case in the high court, the respondent were awarded costs based on 55 pounds, (As they presented their costs in a spreadsheet and showed their charges at 55/hr)and the judge agreed with that. I pointed out that litigant in person can only charge 9.25 per hour, CPR 52.4, but he ignored that and still went ahead with the order. I have to pay in 10 days what shall I do?

Since the order was made the respondent has come back with an updated spreadsheet and increased their price by 20 percent. How can this be corrected?

    Please advise.

    Regards
    Yzee
