Hi TheLegaliser. Welcome to LegalBeagles :beagle:

I've just spoken to Lizzie at Fulcrum, this is a genuine opportunity to take part in a documentary whereby Fulcrum have a barrister on board willing to assist a consumer seek legal redress.

Anyone considering litigation against a company in the near future could consider this.

    Best wishes, Cel
"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

      Re: New BBC TV series

How does taking on lowells sound? Who wrongly chased me for an alleged debt for a mobile phone that was 1 of 2 phones sent to me by a 3rd party company as unsolicited goods that i, as per my right to do so, treated as an unconditional gift and sold them both. They then made up alleged repayments on a statement of account that i had not made. The last one being a direct debit (no record of such payment being made on my bank statements) that was made on a bloody bank holiday of all days. They also refuse to pay my admin fees that without current late payment charges totals Ł750 ( i had informed them of all charges and the rate of such charges and they continued to chase me regardless) they even passed the debt onto another company that hounded my mother with phone calls, and she has a serious heart condition. lowells and 3g both placed defaults on my file for the same account. They claim i took out the contract despite at the time having another phone on contract with another company if i recall correctly. 3g removed there default eventually after alot of emails, but lowells still have theres on my file which i am still trying to get removed due to it being clearly libellous.

Would that be a good one for you guys to start on, as they are bloody notorious are lowell, red and hamptons, which are all the same bloody company. Oh and yes they even included termination fees in the debt they allege i owe them, which according to OFT V Ashbourne management services such fees are unlawful and such contract is too. Though i never verball or in writing gave any uneqivical conformation of acceptance to any terms or contract, as clearly i never enter any contract in the first place. Though lowells and 3g are under the illusion that entering the sim card is deemed acceptance, well i never bloody entered the dam sim card and they would have no evidence as to who entered a sim card in to any bloody phone anyway.

Put people in the red, boost lending profits by charging said people inflated interest rates because of 'credit risk', excessively charge them, take their house or, for the likes of Lowells, earn even more money from these people calling in ridiculously overpriced debts with even more charges.

And now they even send you gifts to snare you into the trap.

Hope you made a few bob on the gifted phone Teaboy and who cares about credit ratings these days? They would have got you one way or another.

Fortunately for me i have the means to never need credit ever again. They know that too do MBNA, lowells and the likes that i have had history with from alleged debts to debts i had prior to starting my business. I geuss thats why they know it would cost them more to take me on in court then it would to write off any debt (Mbna who unlawfully terminated and have invalid DN) or alleged debts (lowells) from me, making it to higher risk for them to take it to court in case they loose. I know it too, hence why i have so much fun rubbing their noses in when they send out pathetic threatening letters or make misleading claims (experto credit) to new legislation entitling them to collect on unlawfully terminated agreements after invalid DN, pointing me to the OFT websites to see said new legislation. Only when asked what the title of new legislation was, the answer i got was, look just pay up or we take you to court. My response was " Funny, i invited you to take me to court myself twice before and you never bothered, but if you insist bring it on".

Didn't hear a thing from them for 6 months till i got a letter saying the invalid DN does not make the debt uneforceable, they soon got a swift reply telling them the law with a p.s. on the end, telling them to sit on their middle finger and swivel. Now their last letter is 12 months over due lol.

As for the alleged phone debt lowells are chasing me for, i sure made a nice profit on it as i sold one phone for Ł100 and the other for Ł80 both still in their packaging. I certainly got my moneys worth out of my free unconditional unsolicited gifts lol

Hi and welcome to you, Legalizer !!!

Personally, I got my help from the guys here a few years ago, but I stick around and prowl the mean and lonely streets here to try and help out, still.

I don't think you will be short of programme material - your toughest task will be to sort out which cases to go for.

I look forward to the programme !!!

              Welcome Legalizer to Legal Beagals.

I am sure we have many cases on here that are very suitable for a TV consumer series.

You just have a read through our different forums as some have been battling with the likes of SWIFT, DCA's, Bailiffs, CMC's the list is endless.....

Oops and sorry Legalizer - where are my manners??

                Hello and welcome.

Like Bill says, it'll be what ones to feature as it's a nationwide pandemic at the moment, naturally our governments whatever the colour are too scared to put some regulation in place so the country far from being helped, is up the creek without one. Still, the bankers are OK because they're financing this living hell.

I'm mainly a Swiftee but am having trouble with Welcome Finance too, Teaboy - another threat by them to come round even though they've been reported to the police, they even put it into a letter so they really don't care. It makes me laugh when I read about all these 'blue chip' companies buying these little tinpot thug companies and making them sound decent as in the people who own Lowells. Interestingly for the programme, I understand the BBC have now got into bed with the same company.

Not my area, but it strikes me that this might be worth some discussion, whilst we're in the process of contemplating offers of "The King's Shilling..."

                    Yes Bill, I agree.
If you're going to air grievances on national TV, it would be nice to know that it was all 'shipshape & Bristol fashion', & you wouldn't be 'Jolly Rogered'.

                      Re: New BBC TV series

In the defence of the company enquiring, they are an independent so I think it would just mean that the BBC wouldn't be front of the queue to buy this. If you look at Fulcrum's website they've done some good stuff, they'll probably go for warts and all and sell to the highest bidder.

I think we should have some say in who funds the BBC, our licence money should be going to impartial reporting. I expect to see some NHS bashing happening on there because these companies will want to sell private health insurance next aka 'You've run out of money now, here's a packet of aspirin you can have with your last 20 pence and there's the door'.

                        Re: New BBC TV series

I didn't see the TV programme myself, but i believe there was a recent 'investigation' into the dubious tactics employed by bailiffs.

The 'spin' on this was that it was a rogue who was acting outside his remit - the exception to the rule.

As a fairly frequent user of LB's forum, & the number of 'bailiff' posts I see, I would find it difficult to accept that proposition.

Usually, & in fairness, the 'other side' is given the opportunity of outlining their side of the story.

It would be nice if there was open & honest dialogue.

Not my area, like I said, but the highest bidder may well dictate what is included/excluded. Once they have bought the rights, then I suspect they have bought the editorial rights. I would prefer this to be bought by someone who excels in You-Tube publicity, TBH. We need to see this stuff - warts and all.

regarding the bailiff programme, Chaz. I agree - they did indeed make that guy out to be the exception, didn't they ?

We have to be so careful.
