    Re: Landlord locked me out

As there was no tenancy agreement in place, and therefore I believe an assured shorthold tenancy, there was no agreement about it being a FRI lease, the tenant being fully responsible for repairs and insurance. So for the work we carried out renovating and repairing the premises who should pay? Me the tenant, or the landlords? And for having Xmas business essentially destroyed by the landlord locking up the premises without going through the proper legal procedure (according to Rent Act Scotland) should there be compensation?
