In December 2007 I got a first charge, on an unmortgaged property, with 'Swift first advances'. When I tried to renegotiate the interest rate to a lower mortgage rate,I was told that it was not a mortgage but a loan and there was nothing I could do about it. I was taken to court and given a ccj.Payments were 1006.65 a month.I was told by Fresh start loans, who were the introducer that I could renogiate at a later stage..

Re: loan mortgage
If you can post up a copy of the agreement we can then take a look at it and tell you exactly what it is. i.e. loan or mortgage, and whether it is actually an enforecable agreement. Please note that this advice is given informally, without liability and without prejudice. Always seek the advice of an insured qualified professional. All my legal and nonlegal knowledge comes from either here (LB),my own personal research and experience and/or as the result of necessity as an Employer and Businessman.
By using my advice in any form, you agreed to waive all rights to hold myself or any persons representing myself of any liability.
If you PM me, make sure to include a link to your thread as I don't give out advice in private. All PMs that are sent in missuse (including but not limited to phishing, spam) of the PM application and/or PMs that are threatening or abusive will be reported to the Site Team and if necessary to the police and/or relevant Authority.
I AM SO GOING TO GET BANNED BY CEL FOR POSTING terrible humour POSTS.

Re: loan mortgage
Good morning,
I have received your message, and the first thing you need to is to re-register under an 'assumed' name. This can be any name you choose.
Sparkie will be pleased to help you, [I know he will not mind me saying so], and I will help you too.... (If we can).
You need to protect your privacy at this stage, and I am sure my other Beagle colleagues will agree.
Regards
Dougal
